Selected based on frequency response and on the whole, they do perform well for their size and weight - IF - they would stay in my ears. One more revision for 'use with humans' probably would put these in the top 10 of all earphones, but they have to stay in to deliver.

    These were bought as a replacement for ones I lost the cover on. These were on sale and at a great price. Even better they ended up 50% off on top of the sale... great product, great sound and very affordable... and a name like Sony. Can't beat the quality and the value.

          It's better than Apple's ear buds. It's more comfortable. It has better sound. They always stay in my ears like they are suppose to. Unlike Apple's ear buds, they tend to dislodge when I'm chewing or anything else that causes them to move.
