The vellum makes wonderful transparencies of my digitized embroidery designs. This in turm makes positioning for multi-hooping easier with my electronic sewing machines and embroidery modules. I use Bernina 730 and 830 machines with the Bernina Designer Plus 6 Software.

I purchased this paper instead of the fancier vellum paper. The employee at Staples recommended it when I asked if there were any cheaper packs in the store, I'm glad he did. It worked out perfectly. I printed on it for my wedding invitations and it looked beautiful. Worked just the same as the more expensive kind that was double the money. It was attached and you had to tear it off, but I didn't have any difficulties removing it. Perfect for my use. I cut it in half so I still have plenty left.
The Staedtler 25% vellum tracing paper has a media weight of 16 lb or a thickness of .0032 inches. The Bienfang parchment tracing paper has a media weight of 24 lb or a thickness of .0048 inches. The Staedtler tracing paper is thinner.

You could use for wedding invitation if you wish and also as a printable overlay but please note this product is very thin and color could bleed through. Thanks
