    An envelope is an envelope is an envelope. I got these to do our monthly newsletter. The cost is DRAMATICALLY cheaper than the self adhesive ones. But for whatever reason sealing these envelopes is always the worst part of the job. We have tried the sponge bottles that slide along the gum line and moisten it but they always make a worse mess and get water everywhere. So we lick the envelopes to seal them and the taste is just awful. It was bad before, but for whatever reason it tastes so much worse. How about a flavored glue?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?

    Self adhesive envelopes are better

    Wetting a gummed envelope isn't bad if you're only sending one or two. A large mailing requires self adhesive envelopes. They're quick and easy to seal.
