This copy holder is a very simple product for someone who isn't interested in all the costly "frills". The "line guide" is a tinted transparency to make it easier to follow lines without moving it each time. It has foam squares on the bottom to keep it from moving around. Overall, great product. Very pleased with purchase.

Curve - Very Poor Design

I've tried to use this product to hold patient data sheets so that I may enter patients data into the computer. If the data sheets are not clipped in at the top, the pages slide off the holder at the bottom. Clipping the pages then involves two hands to turn through each. There is no lip at the bottom to prevent this from happening. Since this item is curved, it has a tendency to cast a shadow over the pages. I've had this holder for a year...to prevent further frustration, I ordered a Fellows model. Trash time.

      I like to knit lace and I thought this product would be ideal for holding the charts. It is, if you make the chart small, letter size. I make charts bigger than that so I can see all of the squares. The holder is too small for this type of use.

      It is good for the other charts I mentioned above, so I will use it quite often.

      It is also a reliable tool for any office work I may want to do when I am designing knitting patterns. I usually hand write on yellow note paper then transfer to the computer. This is ideal for that.

        I already have one in all metal and I went looking for the line locator. Since they are not available alone, I purchased this one and I really like it. It also accommodates regular sized paper and large sized paper. You can also read through the line locator.
