The tabs at the top can be "forced a little" to face up, and make labels more visable. Use only the labels it came with- others may be very difficult to remove. The labels would not print on my Brother lazer printer, yet worked fine in my deskjet 6500. label allignment not perfect, but OK. I color coded groups of files- Nice. I am running a paperless office- yet- that is almost impossible for a business. Paperless really means that I buy the ink and paper, instead of the banks etc. Clever moves again, corporate world! Plastic files are slippery- but thats OK.

Durable but slick surface made them a pain to stack. Didn't work well with my hanging files.

My Bills I put in Red (money I owe)
Anything to do with health goes in Blue
example: primary care HSA account, eye Dr., orthodontist etc...

I purchased these for my business and I thought the papers might fall out. But the exact opposite. The folders create slight static cling and the papers stay in nicely. They are easy to get in out of my busines bag. My father saw me using them and wanted his own. So I have purchase them for myself and a gift. Great product!

  Tab layouts for file folders are as follows: Straight cut is a single tab, 1/2 cut has 2 tabs, 1/3rd cut has 3 tabs, 1/5th cut has 5 tabs, 2/5th has a tab that is to the right of the center, and a 2/5th cut far has a tab in the far right position.
