I find it absolutely hilarious that so many people buy this product and complain that it's "too short". People, please double check! Those of you who want the tabs to protrude out of hanging folders and be visible, get a normal "Manila folder"!!! This product, on the contrary, is an INTERIOR folder. The difference? It is meant to hide inside the hanging folders. It's really preference, but regular manilas are a lot cheaper than this kind, so it makes it even more ironic that people buy this product and further take the time to complain about them being "too short".

Now, MY complaint with this product is that it is SO DARN EXPENSIVE! Just why does it have to be twice as expensive as a regular manila folder??? Same brand, same quantity and it requires less paper to produce them, and yet they charge us more than double? Lesser demand could not amount to that much of a price difference. I find it utterly ridiculous.

What can someone say about file folders? These work great as sub-folders in a hanging file folders. The tabs are short enough that you can see the tab from the main folders--making your file drawers neater looking...a bonus to me. My only complaint is that one would think that smaller folders would cost less since they take less material to make...but like pricing for children's clothes, that logic doesn't apply.

We are constantly in need of file folders. Even in a digital world, where so much of our paperwork is now on storage devices - HD, Flash Drives, DVD, and CD - we still find it necessary to save hard copy.
The government still requires hard copy for tax and business purposes, in the event that there is a requirement to file or register documents.
So to keep all that 'stuff' organized, we use file folders of a number of styles. This is the most basic, most widely-used file folder in our file drawers, and we can't be without them.
Staples sells them for less, and they are not paper-thin, but sturdy, and last a long time.

  No, the point of these interior file folders is that they are flush with the hanging file. You probably want item #116657, those are taller folders and much cheaper.
