I used the Staples referenced Avery number with MS Word, the first line of cards came out correct, the remaining 9 pages were out of alignment. I had to use my paper slicer to get them approximately even and had to fold other than on the fold provided.

I used these tent cards from Staples as place cards for my son's rehearsal dinner. My husband and I designed the cards on the computer, then printed them off. It took a little practice to get the spacing exactly as I wanted it but after several trials and a little anxious moments, they printed and looked amazing. I also but wedding heart stickers at the left hand corner of each tent card, along with the guest's name and their menu choice. We received a lot of complements on how "professional" they looked!

Used this for the place cards for guests at my wedding. Found a template to use on [@], did a mail merge and had perfect place cards. I would say that you should not set these up outside from past experience, but for any inside or covered event, these are perfect. And cheaper than the Avery brand!

I have software for printing on Avery 5302 Tent Cards.
Will this softeware work the same; layout etc. with the Staples tent card product?

  Normally you use the 5302 tent card template available in the Word software, you may use the same software and same template for item # 677802. Or, you can obtain free templates from www.avery.com.

  While this product does not have the PE layer that blocks any ink or moisture from getting to the base fibers it has a color receiver layer that holds the ink regardless if it is from a printer or a Sharpie. However if the customer dumped an excessive amount of ink on the sheet it could work through; however, it would have to be a very heavy amount.
