Answer this question 1 answer A: Make sure the spring staple tray is not stuck open. You may have to push the hinge all the way back on the stapler before you are able to staple again. Q: I can not get the 3/4" to load.... will not close at all.... is there a manual? THe 1/2" won't load either.... I need this to work - I will be using this to staple construction drawings, which will be anywhere from 25- 60 pages thick! Getting ready to toss this out the door... Asked on 7/24/2012 by Vanessa from RIchmond VA Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: This stapler is specifically designed to use the Staples® 3/8" High-Capacity Staples, which are larger than the standard 1/4" staples regular staplers use. Unfortunately, the 1/2" or 3/4" staples will not fit into this stapler. The Swingline® Heavy-Duty Stapler (item: 386312) may work better for you as it can use 1/4", 3/8", 1/2" and 3/4" staples. To place an order for this item, please contact Staples at 1-800-333-3330. Answered on 7/25/2012 by Justin G. from Staples
Q: Why does the stapler not secure the staples tight against the paper on the underneath side? Asked on 6/28/2012 by Donnah from Jackson TN Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: Ideally this is supposed to be a stapler that clinches staples flat, but a variety of factors can come into play. I'd first check that you're using a high quality staple, particularly if you're fastening just a few sheets of paper together. Often times you'll find that even though a staple is listed as a specific size, they might be slightly longer or shorter than other staples of that side which will effect how tightly they fasten against the back of the paper. Q: Is the stapler adjustable? The papers are inserted and stop too far back which makes it staple 3/4" down the page. Asked on 2/24/2012 by Nancy from Bayou La Batre, AL Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: No, this stapler is not adjustable. Answered on 2/27/2012 by Liz C from Staples A: The stapler is not adjustable, when loaded correctly and closed correctly, the staples should be less than an inch from the top paper edge. Your stapler may not be closed all the way, there shouldn't be any space between the bottom black and middle silver piece. Answered on 2/28/2012 by Community Answer from None
