      These envelopes are primarily used for mailing paperwork to the home office. Instead of stuffing my report into a business size envelope; I fold the report in half and it fits perfectly into this size envelope. I use them exclusively. Very good product.

        when mailing more than 3 pages, you can fold them in half and they aren't a thick in this size envelope and the post office is more apt to accept them.....rather than in a #10 size envelope that is thick and you need to pay extra postage for. I use these a lot.
