Leave plastic packing tape behind

This tape is great for moving, especially on boxes that will carry heavy items like books and kitchen supplies. It is also great for reinforcing boxes that are a little flimsy or have a small tear. It will curl and not work as well if it gets too wet. This is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars, but is also partly my fault for not using it correctly.

I replaced all the plastic packing tape on boxes I used to move with this tape. I didn't have one "blowout" where this tape was used. I also use it on the boxes used for storage because it won't peel quite as easy if exposed to hot weather.

While the price is good, this tape isn't all that good. I hate it when the tape slips out of the dispenser and sticks back down on itself, as this one frequently does. When it does and you try to get it back, you end up with little tears and can't get the whole edge, since the tape is so thin.
If you have a good dispenser, the tape would be ok, but the dispenser it comes with is horrible.

I USE THIS Reinforced fiberglass tape for all my shipping. never have I had a complaint about the shipping boxes tearing open or breaking apart during shipping. And you know UPS can be pretty rough sometimes.I frequintly ship accross country and I need a Reinforced fiberglass tape to secure my packages. this product is it.

I wet the tape and apply it and press very firmly. Still the edges and sometimes center lift up. I wet gently and try again but end up using clear tape to hold down the packing tape. Why bother with the packing tape if I need wide clear tape to tape it down? I tried different amounts of moisture to see if perhaps I needed more or less. I have yet to find the proper ratio.
