after taking it out of the cardboard i discovered that it had been dented at the top right by the lock. the top drawer would not open without catching. too much of a hassle to load back in the car and drive back to the store so we pulled the dent out the best we could. wrapping on the cardboard was torn at the bottom should have had the sales assistant remove all wrapping so i could have seen the dent

      Great value for the price paid. This cabinet works better than expected. The drawers glide nice and easy. All FOUR drawers lock! Looks great in my home office. Makes filing away all my paperwork a breeze. There is no need for hanging file supports which I hate using because those never stay in place. In this cabinet the hanging files fit nicely on the sides of the drawer and don't fall off. You can remove the drawers easily by pressing the glide locks on the side. The trick is one side needs to be pressed up and the other side needs to be pressed down to release the drawer. However I would never try to remove any drawer on any cabinet full of files. That is a spill waiting to happen. All in All I am very pleased with this filing cabinet.

I am more than happy with the product. It's perfect for my small business needs. It's sturdy, stylish and it holds so much paper!! It helped me organize my office and I would not hesitate to buy another one or recommend it to a friend. Trust me this is well worth your money.                 The Staples Vertical File Cabinet, 26 1/2" 4- Drawer, Letter size does provide interlocking on each drawer. If one of the drawers is not pushed in all the way it will not allow the rest of the drawers to open, as well as if they are not all pushed in then this will not lock each drawer.
