You Can't stand the Truth

These are absolutely the best glue sticks I have ever purchased. As a long-time user of glue sticks I KNOW quality when I see it, and these glue sticks are the finest, best-sticking glue available. From my research, only the most expensive ingredients go into the Staples Washable glue sticks - things such as Shea Butter, Cashmere extract and other rare imported stuff...all combined with deionized purified water under the most stringent laboratory standards, then hermetically injected into the glue stick holders under tremendous pressure and heat. They are then left in temperatures barely above freezing for a MINIMUM of 9 months in aged oaken casks...only then are they examined by highly-trained glue scientists who must individually approve each Staples washable glue stick before it may be packaged and sold. Such quality doesn't come cheap, I assure you.

IF you prize being able to glue stuff, nearly any kind of stuff, then select this glue stick...you can't go wrong.

Used this on our Christmas cards. It seemed to stick when first applied, but once people received the cards, the glue was coming undone. Cannot recommend.

I bought these glue sticks to use with special needs students. I made a sample of a paper frame, paper picture and small paper words. I also made the same paper pictures for my entire class of students. I made sure I applied lots of glue since I know stick glue sometime comes up. The next day almost every frame and the sample fell apart. I needed to buy more glue that actually worked. I will never buy Staples glue sticks again and I may not buy Staples brand of other things too.

The price for this fits the quality. I love that the glue is purple so I can see where I have put it, but the glue didn't keep my paper stuck together once it dried. It became very brittle and came apart.

I only use this for paper-to-paper tasks. (I can't comment on other uses.) It is quick and easy to apply and the adhesion is excellent. The color contrast is a bonus - I know where I have applied the glue and how much I used. TIP: When applying glue to the edge of paper, draw/stroke the pen toward the outer edge. Do not draw/stroke the pen back and forth or you may wrinkle the paper by accident. And be sure to have scrap paper underneath to allow for any strokes that go beyond the edge.
