              Just introduced this into my office. The staff loves it. My letter sorter isn't usually taken during ATV off-roading or skydiving so its build is well suited for the workplace. If you need a mail sorter then what's the question here? Get it and be done with.

                  A:

                  The compartments are 2.125 inches high, 9.75 inches wide and 12 inches deep. Letter size file folders would fit in these compartments.

                It says this piece snaps together. Can you choose how many comparments/rows/columns you can have example

                A) can you use 2 rows across instead of 3?
                B) ALso, can you use only 6 comparments or does it have to be all 12?

                  The number of compartments on each level is four – that cannot change.
                  You can have all 3 levels together as shown or use as singles or do 2 and 1.

                  A:

                  You can snap pieces together in rows of three. You cannot make a row of less than three, because each row is one piece that is made to snap into place with other rows. You can use as many, or as few rows as you want to. I bought two of these and snapped them together, but left off one row and it is working very well.
