Some elements have super strength and are highly reactive.
These super elements can be used to convert one element to another. Used carefully you can take advantage of this in order to make larger groups, but be careful as mixing the wrong elements creates stone.
Stone is non-reactive and can only be removed by combining with more stone.
To make matters worse some elements are so unstable they periodically change from one element to another as they break down. This makes things very unpredictable as the state of your game changes from one moment to the next.
