Metal construction is a lot better than the hard plastic variety which does not want to work well after too many attempts at thicker stack of pages.

I owned a Swingline stapler for 15 years. It was only natural that I would buy another one. The quality of the product can't be beat. It's easy to use, sturdy and I would recommend it to everybody. Product can be used at home as well as business use. Have used other brands and nothing compares to Swingline as far as looks, durability, price (as they say, you get what you pay for)! At the office, I am in charge of replenishing Office Supplies and Swingline is the brand I have ordered and will continue to order while given this responsibility.
