pesky computer cord tamed

The cord to plug in my old laptop kept coming loose (doesn't work with battery alone), so I put one of these on the back of the computer, then wound a Velcro one-wrap strap (also at Staples) around a loop in the cord. The cord can now be anchored to the computer when I need it there, and I can easily unhitch it when I put everything away.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

The product does not do what it is advertised to do. It did not stick to the cubicle fabric or the items to be hung. Product was a waste of money.

I use these in lieu of double sided sticky foam tape to hold cord claps directors on my sewing machine. A great alternative for a variety of Fix It needs beyond photography.

I have a base for my gps that sits on the dashboard of my car. If I accelerate quickly, it would slide off and I would have to retrieve it, etc. I decided that a velcro solution was worth trying, by putting a strip on the dashboard and a strip on the gps base. I ended up finding this product at Staples, and it has quite a few small, circular appliers. I put two on the bottom of the gps base, pulled the waxed paper that covered the glue off of the velcro and stuck it on the dashboard. Voila! no more problems and I can still take the gps base off the dashboard if I want.

I've been using Velcro since 2006 for my Flag Worship Ministry. My husband and I use it to attach Flag fabric to fishing poles or dowel rods. We use a lot of it. We were buying it in large rolls and cutting it at first, but that made it very hard for us to get the pieces off the paper. When it is packaged this way in the pre-cut style it makes our live a whole lot easier. We just wish that we could find a way to purchase them pre-cut and packaged this way in a bigger bulk so we could purchase more at a time as we use so much of it. Love the product!
