Just what I needed
I recently refinanced my home and most of the documents were legal sized. Try putting those in a standard file. Now I have all of my mortgage paperwork in one file box that fits up on a shelf but I can easily find what I'm looking for.

Not the greatest
The folders themselves are okay so far but the slits in the bottom to insert the cardboard into are not cut all the way through. I have to use a utility knife to cut them the rest of the way through.

Box bottom could be improved
The cardboard insert provided to create the stiff box bottom is slightly too short to fit well. Added to that is the fact that the slits in the folder to hold the cardboard insert don't hold well enough and rip too easily.

Box Bottom File Folders Hold More
In order to put more related items together in one file folder, I find it more acceptable to use the box bottom file folders. They are available in letter and legal sizes to accommodate one's needs. Pleased that Staples has them.

Defective Hangers
Out of the 25 folders, 9 of them were missing the white hanger pieces. Staples management took care of the issue, but unsatisfied with this product

2" expansion foler quality poor
The folders were fairly thin and concerned that they are 2" wider to hold more stuff but they are very thin, poor quality
