I only want the DAWN ORIGINAL SCENT!
If you don’t keep making the original scent product I will never buy dawn again. Why would you change a perfect thing? I HATE THE NEW SCENT. I can’t find the original Dawn anywhere and I’m starting a social media campaign to protest it.

New formula, new scent?
Was the scent the only thing that changed? The original can never left water spots on my dishes but now everything is covered in spots and this makes me question if they are clean. Don’t like new scent
I have always loved Dawn, it gets grease off dishes and works to get stains off clothes. But this new scent is horrible!! It stays on your hands and fishes. I have looked everywhere for the original scent to no avail. I’m going to have to start looking for a new detergent.

Dawn, you stink.
Read the room. Every single comment in this thread is the same as mine. It smells too strongly and has an awful smell. If you want to keep customers (particularly ones who have used original for decades) change it back. I will be buying another brand in the meantime.

DAWN NEW Clean Scent
The new Clean Scent smells very strong and toxic. If you have used the original scent and purchase the new clean scent be ready for a smell shock and headache. I am so sad to say I will not be purchasing dawn dish soap going forward due to the scent change. I really loved the original scent.

Shouldn't have changed the original scent!
The quality of soap has deteriorated over the last several years. I used to only have to use a tiny bit of soap for a load of dishes but now I have to spend more time applying more soap than I do actually washing them. Horrible Change of Scent
I have used Dawn for so many years that I cannot count them. I’m not certain when you changed the scent because I had many large refills, but it is an awful change to one of the most iconic dish soap products. Why would a company mess with success.

Terrible smell. Cant tolerate it the scent.
Just returned a few large bottles of platinum dawn back to costco. New scent is disgusting and no one in family can tolerate it.

Allergic to new formula
Please bring back the old scent/formula. Whatever is in the new formula makes by hands break out in a rash. And it smells like shampoo instead of dish soap. Why change something so many people were happy with??

New scent/perfume is overpowering. Stinks.
Really overpowering smell. Makes me sneeze and cough. So disappointed - tried to leave it uncapped outside overnight to outgas, without success. Will not buy again. What are you doing to a previously great product?

New scent stinks, bring back old
I buy Dawn liquid soap because I know they donate to wildlife, but the new scent is the most disgusting thing I've ever smelled, I can't use it on my dishes. Can I donate it to wash the baby ducks?

Blue original is NO longer the original.
Do NOT like the new scent, will not go to the EZ squeeze bottle that is fragrance free because I value buying the bulk size to refill my small bottle. We will find a new brand if Dawn scent free is not available in a bulk size.

Bad Move Dawn
Used Dawn as long as I can remember but sadly no more. The new scent is off putting, lingers and oddly clings to dishes and makes them smell like an AI garden. Bad move dawn!!!!!

“New Clean Scent” is AWFUL!!!
I have used the blue Dawn liquid for decades with positive results. The “new clean scent” is the worst! It smells like a teenager used an entire bottle of Axe body spray then was turned into dishwashing liquid. It’s gross! Please go back to the original or I will consider switching brands.

Not switching to unscented, switching brands.
I've used Dawn for years. Bought a new bottle and was shocked by the overpowering sickly sweet smell. I'm amazed that any focus group would have thought this better than the original. Tide made this mistake years ago switching their original scent for a new one. I gave away a full box and switched brands. As my father always said, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

The new scent stinks!
The new scent is awful. Every time I use it I feel like I'm on a date with someone who used too much Axe body spray. Pleas go back to the original scent!!! The soap works well otherwise.
