Worth extra cost for style and quality
We needed a surge protector that would lie flat in the outlet that is on the decorative backsplash of a kitchen counter where we plug in our compact microwave and other appliances. This surge protector screws into the outlet so it won't pull out when we unplug other appliances and is quite attractive relative to the less expensive alternatives available.

Unbearably slow charging
Got this device because I like the design and overall execution. Unfortunately the charging is so slow. Supposedly 2.4Amp shared but the most I measured was 2 Amps to my tablet. And you get probably 1-1.2 Amp per device if using both ports. That just doesn’t cut it for 2020 and devices that can take 3.6 Amp each. I really hope there’s a refreshed version soon.

Best Surge Brand BELKIN
I have be a fan of Belkin for 20 years or maybe more. This surge protectors have stood between my expensive Viking sewing machines and the Lighting storms for years. I have recommend this brand forever to friends, family and strangers who were on the hunt for a good surge protector.
