perfect fit
I wanted an easy way to keep all my quilt patterns. I bought a binder and these sleeves. I was able to slide a pattern in each sleeve and now I can easily go through all my patterns. Very happy with the out come! I was even able to shove and have it lay nice and neat several sheets of paper in one sleeve. ( Some patterns have a few pages)

Too small
These are slightly too narrow and therefore will not hold an 8 1/2 x 11 piece of paper.

Sheet protectors are a great help!

Paper protectors
Although these are thin (standard weight), they are perfect for placing items on my students' stations (basically a portable bulletin board) because I can replace the items as needed. I have not used these protectors in a notebook yet.
