Pentel is the best of the best.....always and forever.
Oh yes, there is only one mechanical pencil and it is Pentel P205,,,,,,0.5 mm. My husband and I have used for a lifetime and....will continue to do so. Keep your inventory flowing.....we only buy from Staples!

Better than the rubberized version
I have the original Pentel 0.5 black mechanical pencil, and it still works. I have all the other mechanical pencils but eventually the rubber expands and begins to peel off. This pencil works great, and it’s easy to make precise markings. The only drawback is, that it is easy to lose the cap when you need to erase something.

My Favorite Pencil
I love using a mechanical pencil and Pentel are my favorite ones. The lead is always consistent and I just like the feeling I get when I write with it. If you’ve never tried a mechanical pencil you should you’ll be surprised how you love using it and your writing will be fantastic.

The advantage of a mechanical pencil is that they don’t have to be sharpened. I have been using these pencils for some years. They slip into a small pocket and are just basically useful. Since they’re refillable, I theoretically don’t need to keep buying more, but sometimes they get stuck and I buy new ones to replace those who, after a few years, are bent or not wor...

I have a Cross mechanical pencil, but wanted something not as fancy. Pentel is reasonable priced and I was really surprised how precise and well made it is. Highly recommend! I'm very happy with my purchase.
