Noisy and Flimsy
When my old Canon MP11DX started acting too funky to use, I ordered this Sharp for the
convenience of the ink cartridge instead of messy ribbon.

Its big and easy to use. but cant use batteries
I thought it would have option to use batteries if you want but no it does not.
you have to keep it plugged in at all times to use this calculator. I don't know why I just assumed that it would have both. Buttons are easy and big to see. it works good.

Sharp EL-1801V Calcualtor
Not exactly the same as my previous Sharp EL-1801V calculator. Display is different. Also, it doesn't set level and wobbles when pressing keys.

A great 10-Key
I have been using this model (or older versions of the same model) for many years. Sadly, my last one died after over a decade of solid use and I replaced it with this latest model. The keys feel just as good and the display is even a better contrast for my aging eyes! I highly recommend this model!

3 MONTHS OLD AND BROKE
We purchased this and received it on June 1 2023 and it is hung on print mode and no matter what you select it will not stop if you could make that stop you could at least use it without the print. Its to late to return

Do not waste your money
I wish I'd paid more attention to recent reviews. This is the second one I've purchased in the past 4 months, and both of them have been defective. They start spinning the tape uncontrollably and will not stop unless unplugged. It seems to be a recurring issue with this device. Of course, this happens after the very brief 14 day return window for Staples.
