VERY DISAPPOINTED
If you are looking for a mat that will have a stable surface over a deep pile carpet, I highly suggest that you look somewhere else because after much time studying the catalog Staples offers, this was the best I could identify and it is inadequate.

It comes FLAT!
Needed a new mat for my chair, the last one I got came rolled up. Very pleased with this one, which came flat, no need to iron out the curve.

Very unsatisfied with this mat as it slides around on the carpet. The bumps on the bottom are not deep or sharp enough to keep it from sliding.

I use this item under my art table on a carpet floor. Don't have to worry about spills (Like ink, paint etc) easy to see the mess and easy to clean up. The best thing is NO damage to the carpet.

Make sure your carpet pile is flat. Mine is just under a half inch and this mat gets depressed under the wheels of my chair. It takes a serious butt shove to move it.

I like that it had a lip that fits me desk perfectly where I put me feet. However, it is at least a foot narrow on the other 3 sides which results in the rolling chair goes off the mat when I get up from the chair.

I would have given it zero stars if that was an op
too soft. chair sinks in. Returned the first one because i thought it was defective and they gladly refunded me. It is the design. Says it works on short pile but it does not work at all. I sink down and the chair does not roll.
