No erasers?!
These are starter pencils for young kids. I was surprised (and disappointed) that there were no erasers at the ends of the pencils.

Pencils will be great for carpentry!
I hate how the lead in 'regular' pencils seems to be in broken pieces inside of the wood and I find capenter's pencils feel funky in my hand but these work great!

Unusual Use
These pencils are intended for beginning writers, but we use them in our shop to mark on ceramics. They leave a nice thick pencil mark which is easily visible, exactly what we need.

very fine pencil, but oops, no erasers
I need the thickness of these pencils to keep my hands from cramping. I did not realize there are no erasers on the pencils, though. Not a disaster, but I do make small mistakes now and then.
