Ball point better than water soluble gel
I bought ball point pen to replace water soluble gel. Associate at Staples seem to know of problem with gel pens, but I did not realize it until I got water on one of my important documents. Think there should be a warning on gel pens that they are water-soluble. Paper Mate pen OK, but would have preferred standard width, which were not available at StaplesThat day.

Leaking ink
Takes ink too long to dry as you’re writing. Too many ink “clumps”. I would not recommend this product

Chose wrong pens
I became confused with the writing on the pens and chose the wrong ones. I will just give them away. They have big points and I wanted fine.

Best Ballpoint Pen!!!!
When I tell you that this is the best pen I have ever written with. I am telling the honest truth. Everytime i go to the store and see them i get a pack. I really wish they would come out with more colors rather than the red, blue, black and purple. GREAT PEN!

The pens themselves work well. Nicely weighted, bold width as advertized, and smooth ink experience. The product choice: the choice for bold and gel, fantastic; the choice of the number of colors (four) colors is just right, not too many, not too few. Paper Mate Profile Retractable Ballpoint Pend
Once I was able to brake away the protective material from the tip of the pen they started to work fine. Should mention said ball point protection so people don’t throw them away when they don’t work!
