Scotch archival 2-sided tape doesn't work
Very poor product. It takes way too long to remove plastic liner off tape. I am creating an entire archival scrapbook with 12 pages finished. It took me hours to rub the photos so they stuck to the page. Several days later more than half of photos no longer adhere to the page. Would like to know why this product is still on the market. Useless tape
This tape is not user friendly! First no instructions on how to use it. Come to the website read reviews figure out how to use it and then when I pull off the beginning strip the tape splits. Well once it split there is no way to get an end to start again! Boo to 3m for a useless but expensive product!

Double sided tape splits
I use this double sided tape to mount photos and have multiple dispensers since I use it a lot. However, recently, while using this tape, the very beginning of the roll, the tape splits and I end up unable to restart the roll. I tried several different times trying to free up an end to start using these rolls again. Very disappointing.

Meh purchase
Can't get the frickin' backing off! Then read reviews and learned the little tab at the begining piece that I cut off i needed to leave... well I guessi wasted money on this! Grrrrrrr!

Poor design to have instructions in wrong language
Was ready to return it because we couldn’t figure out how to use it. Looked it up online to see if I was missing something, and it said “no liner”. We were trying to remove something to make it sticky on top. It would have helped if the writing on the tape was in ENGLISH!! Had to unroll several inches before English showed up to indicate it wasn’t a 2-layer product like...

Wish it worked better
I have begun to use this product, replacing another which is not readily available. I wish I could give it a good review, but the product is inconsistent, there is lots of waste and it is expensive. I love double sided tape!
Once I used this to put up posters and I never go back to the regular tape. It's so easy to pin stuff up without leaving holes. if only it was less damaging with the glue residue when I take down the poster. I wish it could be like the command tape when you go to remove it.

Definitely not permanent
Permanent, temporary, or both? Actually neither! It should say that it doesn't stick to painted surfaces. I was attempting to hang paper posters on my wall. It refused to stick to the wall. Unfortunately it comes in a 3 pack. So I waisted 3 rolls instead of just one.

Great! once you get past the first few inches
Pull the roll past the black writing on the tape then you're golden. All of the reviews complain that it was a struggle at first, so pull the tape out a few inches until the black writing is gone - the welcome to sticky city.

Name Brand is the Best !
Scotch Brand Double Sided Tape is excellent. I use it for scrapbooking. It is the easiest to use and does the job.
