Lasts about a year - and this is used in a home!
Bought the 46x60 size because the employee said it was the best one they carried.
It was purchased on 10/22/2023 and by November of 2024 large cracks and chips became so bad that my chair wheel would catch on it and the chip edges are sharp enough to hurt your foot if you are not wearing shoes.
Basically, the thing dry-rotted and cannot hold up to daily use. I h...

Didn’t work out
This would be better on a hardwood floor or perhaps no pile industrial like carpet. Chair wheels make a divot and it’s hard to roll.

So fat I have concerns it wont hold up as well as my prior mat on low pile carpet.
Indentations are noticeable while sitting in the chair that remain for a few hours before levelling. Perhaps not as rigid as my prior mat and may lead to cracks- will know over time.
Also not thrilled there were hand handles molded into edges that they hung the product on the storage ...

The carpet chair mat protects my carpet
Installation is just laying it on the carpet. Plain and simple. I liked that compared to other offerings, it is flat when purchased at the store and there is no need to unroll it like other competitive offerings. The thickness of the chair mat protector will preserve the carpet for years to come.

This seems to work well on low pile carpet. The salesman told me to keep the tag on the mat, as I can return it if it cracks. That's nice to know. Hard to believe that this has a lifetime warranty, but I'll see (if it does crack at some point). A good purchase so far.

Great Floor Mat!
This floor mat is amazing! It is thick so it stays in place well, and doesn’t flex and bend like cheaper ones do! The little pegs really grip and hold it in place. This large size allows me to “travel” from my desk to my file cabinets and back without leaving the mat!! Can’t say enough about this mat! I highly recommend it!

A heavy duty mat. Don't bother with the less expensive ones, the previous one I bought fell apart while I was unloading it from my car. You will pay more now, but it appears this one will last.

The largest mat you carry, I would have liked one a bit larger. But not sure I could have afforded it. $5.73 / per square foot. Was a bit much for plastic.

The material is to thin for small carpet. The wheels from the chair make impressions and bumps. This product is extremely overpriced. It did not meet the manufacturers specifications!
