Holds to the max
Scotch transparent tape is great. We use it to make Easter baskets and it is the best. You can not see the tape and it really hods everything together.

This tape does do the job of taping items like intended. It does seem a little thin compared to the non-transparent tape. Not sure if it is my tape dispenser (which is a Scotch dispenser) but not as easy to tear off like matte finish tape. Will continue to use until gone but...
