It prints black over over the page. This is New and it is defective.

So far so good
I've only started using this, but it does what it says it will: fit an HP LaserJet 4000 so it prints black on white paper.

Sustainable Earth by Staples Laser Toner
This works great just as good as the original. And when its done we simple return it with one of the delivery personnel for recycling..

Decent alternative to name brand.
You will lose slight print quality and I've found we get a bit less use from the Sustainable Earth brands toners in general. For everyday printing jobs is a decent alternative.
