Mechanical pencil with a serious eraser
It takes a little getting used to if accustomed to a top click feed but it is nice not having to pull off an eraser cover or dealing with a tictac sized eraser. Time will tell if it holds up.

When the Click stops Clicking
I loved these pencils at first -- the click at the fingertip was so handy. But after a few months of use, the clicking mechanism stops pushing the lead down. I've had three of them die this was so far.
Also, the twist eraser seems like a good idea until you use it -- when you erase the friction of the eraser causes it to twist down into the pencil. You have to hold t...

Annoying label
I like the pencil but the adhesive label left a sticky surface on it. Inconvenient to remove. Staples should add goo gone in the package.

Pentel is dependable
Pentel is my favorite brand of mechanical pencil. I'm still using one that is about 20 years old! God this for a special purpose and know it will be dependable.

Not what I expected
Okay, this is a good mechanical pencil. That's it! No replacement leads or eraser. It was tossed in the box. No blister packet or anything. Review other brands before purchasing. Make sure you have replacement lead and erase in packet.

Twist Erase never fails
Pentel Twist Erase pencils are some of my favorites. They write smoothly, they don’t feel cheap, and they’re more than enough to get the job done.

Pentax twist erase mech. Pencil
A great improvement in the erasing function over older models of this Pentel pencil.

Not sure what to write hear
It was ok, but you used a big box but didn’t even wrap the pencil. That’s unnecessary boxing. At least I get to keep the box

Good idea, but eraser is hard to use
I have been using different versions of the Pentel Twist-Erase .5 pencils for several decades. This one works good, although a little too light weight, but the eraser retracts when you use it. The motion of using the eraser seems to retract it which leaves you with no eraser. I bought about 5 or 6 of this model and they all seem to have this issue.

Design flaw
I love Pentel Twist Erase pencils and have been using them for years. This iteration, however, is a dud as the motion of erasing causes the eraser to retract.

Best mechanical pencil ever
Searched all over for these pencils. They are great. Good grip and the big, fat eraser. Staples had a great price on them.

Panel mechanical pencil
This pencil is my favorite, my original one was chewed up by our dog & I was so very happy to find a replacement online. It seems that the stores don't carry this exact pencil.

The eraser gimmick is poorly executed.
I'm a fan of Pentel, but this pencil is disappointing. The eraser needs to be readjusted regularly, as it gets pushed back in while erasing.
Annoying.
