Loved this!

X-ACTO paper trimmer
Just what I was looking for. Works great, easy to use & store. Lightweight & compact for my home hobby area. Price is very reasonable. I have no criticisms of this tool, & I'm not sure why I put up with my previous paper cutter for so long.

Defective
The blade left a crease mark on my cardstock next to where the cut was made. Cannot use this for my business products.

Does the job
Have only used the cutter a couple times on small amounts of paper but it has worked fine. I wanted something small enough to not take a lot of room but bigger than the sliding cutters used by crafters. This seems to be a good in-between size and is light weight enough to make it easy to move.

Cuts at a slight angle
On an 11” piece of paper, the cut at the top and the cut at the bottom are about 1/16 of an inch off.

Inaccurate cuts
I'll preface this by saying the paper i'm cutting is 12x18 cardstock. Despite it looking pretty precise every cut i make gets more and more imprecise, leading to screwed up images. I'm not sure if it's not cutting stably, or if something else is wrong, but i'll probably get a heavier duty cutter in the future.

Good basic paper trimmer
Lightweight but sharp and efficient. Used mostly to cut chip board. I do like the lock-down guide when cutting multiple pieces.

a some must have needs not met
1. slides if used on table surface as blade lowered, no grippers on bottom. 2. pages fan out if > 2 sheets. 3. exact trim spot hard to see

It does the Job
Overall the plastic feels a bit cheap but it cut well through thick card stock for a craft.
The movable plastic piece doesn’t really stay in very well, so we didn’t really use it much.
I wish there was a lock to keep the blade down.
