Just what I needed
I this chill mat for my main laptop and for my "older" laptop that gets used in my family room. Perfect replacements for the 2 older chill mats that were either making sporadic motor noises or just not working consistently anymore.

Poor Design
Poorly designed, lacks structural rigidity, the bottom panel has developed 2 big cracks on either side in less than 2 months of use with a 17" laptop

Just what I needed

A life saver

Works, not for too long though
Worked well, kept my laptop between 10-15 degrees Celsius cooler. However less than a year into owning it, it's not working as well.
The USB cable is poor quality. For the price and it's simplicity this is underwhelming

I like it!
This Targus two fan unit keeps the laptop nice and cool and has a nice solid structural feel to it. It is quiet upholstered in cloth and has a clip for the cord when you are not using it. I’d buy it again.

Helps a little
Works okay. The fan is quiet but I feel like most of the benefit comes from the elevation; the laptop still gets warm, possibly because of where the fans are placed. An improvement for sure, but I don't know if it's worth fifty bucks.

Laptop Chill Mat
This is an amazing product. It’s really helps keep my laptop nice and cool. The open design lets the air flow no matter where the vents on the laptop are located. I highly recommended this product.

Works Better Upside Down
Good product, but it works better upside down. It's designed so that the fans blow air up at the laptop but my laptop (which is hella hot!) has fans blowing hot air down, so these fans are just blowing air at each other and my legs were still overheating. Turning it over means the chill mat fans are blowing on my legs which cooks them. So for now that's how I'm using it...

Keeping it Chill

Need more info
I will have to go back to staples and learn to use it correctly. My computer shut down a few times and I can't hear any fans going; therefore I wonder if it is working correctly

Excellent!
I love this Targus Lap Chill Mat! I use it on my desk and it keeps my laptop nice and cool. It doesn't take up to much space and it is angled which is a nice touch!

Cooling pad for laptop
Works great ..at least to me it does. Streaming FREE movies online it made my computer go from barely warm to hot! (I don't do Gaming) Did some pricing $ and cooling pad fan-locations styles research on line to match my air input-ports on underside of my laptop and ending up getting this one. Good product
This is a good product there is a noticible sound when plugged-in but not any louder than when the computer fan is running extra hard. The USB cable is nicely able to store in side the raised mat. The downside is if you are using it on a desk the bottom is able to slide around since there is no gripper on the bottom.
