Does not cut it
The tape gun its self is adequate, but the razor does not cut quality tape. All it does is scrape the tape and dispense more than needed or cuts uneven.

Gets the job done
This is my first 3" wide dispenser, normally I use a cheap 2" wide dispenser. Compared to the 2" cheapie this unit is heavy and a little unwieldy, but it dispenses tape just fine and for my occasional use it gets the job done.
Without tape, my 2" wide dispenser is 285g/10oz and this 3" wide dispenser is 645g/1lb7oz, more than twice as heavy.
