A $30 mistake
I hung a recently professionally framed, lightweight picture from one of these, using all the appropriate steps. Two days later, the picture was on the floor with a bashed in corner. I bought several of these, and now will not trust any of them. I expected better from Command. Have had good luck with their products in the past.

Great at first but not after a year.
I have been using Command strips for the last 10 years in my art studio/gallery. Much to my disappointment when I moved in December, every strip took the paint right of the wall despite taking them off correctly. Use to be good
I have had great luck with these in the past. As of lately… the adhesive strip quality is god awful. I have 2 posters and each require 2 of these hangers, so weight is not an issue. Currently I have had the one poster fall off for 3rd time after only staying for about three days each time and now damaging my night stand. The second poster has just fallen the same night ...

Used them to hang metal prints
I just used this style to hang three large metal prints in a waiting room. I used two or three on each print and they hung easily. The prints had a recessed sawtooth hanger so these hangers were a good match.

Works Great!
So far these Command Hooks are my favorite and hold secure when I hang frames according to the directions. I like the appearance of the Command Hook too.

The best Command Strips for hanging larger items.
These are absolutely the best for hanging something a bit heavier. With the hanging part at the top, it hides the wire. They aren’t always available at the store, but were found on staples.com. (You can order them at the store for home delivery and not pay postage-good deal!)

Overall this is a great product. I like the concept of being able to hang something without having to worry about having holes in my wall and removing it without any indication that you were hanging something.
