If Frank W. Abignale, Jr (Catch Me If You Can) recommends a product to prevent check fraud, you can believe it. The special Uniball ink in this pen cannot be dissolved or erased with alcohol, bleach, acetone or any other solvents commonly used by paper-hangers (check fraud criminals).

In this electronic age, people are forgetting that you don't just need anti-virus software on your computer, you need to protect your hard copy documents, too. This pen, especially in blue ink (required by most legal documents) fills the bill in a compact, easy to use size.

Previously, the Uni-ball 207 was the only pen that met this requirement, but the barrel, while comfortable, was too large to fit in the pen pockets of my ACU uniform or flight suit. The roller ball finally came out, and now I can use the pen I prefer with an ink I know is safe.

Way to go, Uni-Ball!

This has been my favorite pen for years. I've always loved the slim grip, the very smooth writing, and the fine point--hard to fine in a rollerball. However, the pens in this latest box I ordered are not up to snuff. Writing feels scratchy and definitely does not glide--in fact, it feels like the pens are almost out of ink. (Not so, however, with the same pen with a larger point I also ordered.) Very disappointed.

This pen is the only writing instrument that I use today. I've tried these other new products and nothing compares. I always come back to this pen. I usually purchase two to three boxes at a time because they are so hard to find and people come to my desk and try to take them. I will continue to purchase this item until they stop making it or something better comes along but that hasn't happened yet and I doubt it ever will.
