Not happy with the number of pages produced!
This cartridge most definitely does not produce up to 200 pages before running out----MAYBE 50. I would Never buy this printer again for a work place that needs to make more than just a few copies, or print more than a few pages.

INK WAS DRY
Previous cartridge showed about 1/4 left, but was dry. (Was ok until I did an alignment for the new Color I installed. Used up the black doing it). I bought XL because the smaller one was not in stock. I buy HP ink because I have an HP printer. I don't use much ink. The "rating" part just showed more ads and "offered" an Ink-program to "save money".

HP black ink cartridges: waste of $$$$$$$
Never buy HP printer again. Every time u put in a new cartridge it WASTES your expensively purchased ink by running alignment tests. By the time it was done I was able to print out 4 letters and needed to purchase both color and black ink again.

From time to time, the printers do alignment tests. This action should not waste all of your ink. I'm incredibly sorry this instance happened to you. Let's figure out what happened. Start by adjusting your automatic maintenance settings on the printer. If the ink is dried out, replace it. There is also the possibility that the cartridge leaked at some point.

EXCELLENT RATING
The young man who helped me ordered the ink which I was unable to order on my own, It was delivered in 3 days. Then, he helped me find some other items I needed. He went far beyond what I had expected. I will definitely shop at Staples again even though we have another office supply store that is more convenient to me.
