Quality HP Ink
The HP 62XL black and white and Tri-Color is the only ink I use for my HP printer. Always good quality printing and the XL cartridge does last a long time with normal printing use. It is unfortunately they have not found a way to make it more affordable.

HP 62 Ink Cartridges
The ink in the cartridges does not appear to hold up t the advertise quantity of prints. I think I obtain about 75% of the advertised pages printed. I understand the quantity depend s on the total content of the articles on the page. I try not to use color when printing when possible

Wrong Ink Cartridge
Unfortunately I mistakenly purchased the wrong cartridge I needed a HP63. I didn't realize it until I opened it. I assumed I couldn't return it after opening it.

pried color once and failed
quit after one color print. now the printer prints black and white only like its out of color

Hi there,
I am sorry that this happened to you. I can understand if you are not happy.
If you check the ink levels and it indicates that you still have colored ink, it is possible that the cartridge is clogged and not letting the ink through the tiny inkjets. There is a cleaning routine available from the printer's menu that you can use to clear them out. The routine might need to be run more than once, to clean them all out.
If you only print occasionally, it is a good idea to shut the printer down between uses. However, it is important to always use the power button on the printer itself to turn it off. That gives it time to ‘park’ so that the printhead is protected from excessive drying.

When I removed the original hp 62 cartridges, They seemed to be the same size as the 62xl cartridges that I was installing. How come? How did the 62xl cartridges hold more ink?

Easy shopping. They do it for you. The store on 9th Ave. NYC has person at door. You ask where to go. Upstairs by elevator. Met by guard. They point around the corner to a person at the big long desk. I asked for ink the clerk went and got it. I paid. No looking around. Buy and go.

HORRIBLE
RAN OUT OF THIS WITHIN 10 MIN I ONLY PRINTED OUT 40 PAGES IN DRAFT TO SAVE ON TONER. NEVER HAD THIS TONER BE SO SHORT WASTE OF $20 + AND IT HAD TO BE DEFECTIVE.

Ink cartridges
Not happy with the new packaging. Sales person said that because of the covid-19 the packaging is separate to your benefit. It cost me $5.00 more which I'm not happy about the extra cost.
