Love it!
My little boy loves playing this game. He is 4yrs old. We play this nearly everyday after school. It is wonderful for improving his understanding of addition and subtraction, plus understanding odd and even numbers. It is also aiding him from jumping from using his fingers to count on to mental arithmetic.

Error in the original printing of the new version
There is an error in the printing/design of the original print of the new version. The 3 and 5 in the endless loop are in the wrong positions vs the old game and being able to land on the exit easier. As it is now with the error it makes the game frustrating and takes forever to get out of the loop now. I've had to change the rules of the game to accommodate this and it...

I would buy this product again
We're using this as a fun way to cement addition and subtraction skills. So far our daughter is engaged and finding the game a lot of fun. We've struggled to make math fun so this is a big win for our family!

I would buy again BUT it needs improvement
Got this to help my Yr1 kid with spellings.
I was sorely disappointed to find they don't contain all 26 letters and therefore cannot make certain words -
eg JAM (no J), FOX (no X)... They may be letters not used as often but you can still make some words from them.
The bolts are also extremely difficult to put on and off - I almost trapped my fingers in several times t...

A favorite in our home!
My son has played this game OVER and OVER! We use it with counting cubes when doing the subtraction. Great game that he doesn't even seem to realize he is learning.

Educational and entertaining
Bought this for our five year old grandson for Christmas gift. He loves playing this and challenging other family members. He likes to play almost everyday after kindergarten. He is very competitive and it teaches him to be a gracious winner and loser.

Good game but missing letters
My 5 year old son was very disappointed! The minute he opened the box, he wanted to construct his own name Jacob, but he couldn't find it. He doesn't want to play with this toy anymore.
Letters j, w, z are missing. Out of 30 nuts at least 2 nuts should have those letters.

Defective
I bought this product through Scholastic and was very excited to use it. However, the holes for the coloured pieces are too small and won't fit on the screw! I'll be returning it.

I would buy again, but would like to have all the letters
WE love the word construction, my son is using it to build 3-4 letter words, my only down point in that there is letters missing, there isn't a "w" or a "j', will have been nice to have those letters on the bolt.

Very nice product
My daughter loves this game. She has struggled so much with even the simplest of math problems and tended to overthink them. She doesn't even give it any thought now
and rattles off the answers to whatever problem in rolled. Very cute game.

Let's Play!
This has been a really great game for our family. We've got two struggling math brains and Sum Swamp is great for helping them get the basics down.
There is a loop you can get caught in, but I've found an easy way to get out is to just eliminate the rule that requires an exact roll. However, our kids just stay in the loop and continue to practice - at some point we've...

My son loves it!
My almost 5 year old plays this game at least 3-5 times a day. He plays with myself, my husband, and even will play by himself. When we first got the game, we used his fingers, and our fingers to show him how to add and subtract, but didn't talk at all about the evens and odds stones.
Now that he's comfortable with the addition and subtraction, and is starting to know...
