Great product for kids
We were looking for something to help our son with his multiplications. The games are a fun way to keep math interesting and challenging. We incorporate this into his homework time, when he's done his math problems he can play a game or two before continuing to another subject.

Fun way to reinforce basic math
Use it during tutoring for middle school age to help with basic math facts. It's a love hate relationship for them but it's better than any alternatives I've found.

A GREAT CONCEPT, but it doesn't hold up.
As an educator, I LOVE the concept of this product. It's fun, engaging, and I love the skip counting game. At first, when we got this, my kids would fight over who got to use this game first. Then, I noticed no one playing with it. I thought it was because the novelty wore off, but it wasn't. When I asked why they quit playing with it, they replied that it doesn't work ...

Great tool for learning multiplication!
My 8 year old got this as a gift and was not thrilled to see it involved practicing Math, but started playing with it and hasn't stopped since. It's a fun, colorful, & engaging toy that reinforces learning multiplication facts through a series of different games & challenges. My daughter loves to play it and we're seeing real improvement in her master of multiplication....

Multiplication Slam is a "Slam Dunk"!
My daughter is in the 5th grade and has found Multiplication Slam (by Educational Insights) to be fun and helpful. She likes the numerous options for memorizing her math facts, and thinks it's a fun way of learning. We both like that Multiplication Slam is portable--perfect for road trips-- and even has a headphone jack, so that she can work quietly without distracting ...

Best Game Ever
This is a great game. I have used it with several of my students and they all LOVE it. The game is great and can be used for all ability levels. I have used it with students who are just learning their multiplication tables to those who have mastered them and want to do a quick review. This is one of my favorite teaching tools. I am so glad I was chosen to receive item ...

great for multiplication mastery
I have a 3rd grader this year and this is the year we are working to master multiplication. We have been learning skip counting for the last year and so I think we might be able to master it quite well this year. Multiplication slam is a great help for that. There are 5 games -- skip it (which is a skip counting game), fast facts (plain old multiplication drilling), fac...

Great toy for learning multiplication facts!
We received this product in exchange for an honest review. Initially, my kids were less than enthusiastic about the idea of practicing math, but they have really enjoyed this product. Although it is a single-player game, the kids (ranging from 8 to 13) had a great time trying to best each other's best times, as well as their own. The type of practice included is helpful...

My Favorite
Multiplication Slam really gets my (almost) 10 year old excited about multiplication! While practicing, he said on two different occasions, "I (just) love this song!" I like it because it is portable (easy for him to hold or bring to another room), allows independent practice (I don't have to be there holding up flash cards) and has a variety of ways to play and require...

This was a hit with my kids
This has quickly become a favorite toy not only for the intended child (my soon to be third grader) but for his older sisters as well.
Multiplication Slam is a light, hand held toy that requires 3 AA batteries (not included). There is a dial that allows you to control the volume. There are several different multiplication games you can play, including Skip It, Fast Fa...

Both kids loved this!
Both of my kids loved this! Neither have formally gone through multiplication in school but figured out the concept and patterns quickly. Great review/reinforcement tool to what is taught in school.

make learning fun again
This works great and the kids are having fun while working on their multiplication. This is a great way to help make learning fun. And I am seeing a difference in the remembering of the 7s 8s and 9s which were a problem before seems to be easier now. This is so much better than flash cards. I was given this product foe my honest opinion and in my opinion this is so wort...
