I have two copy machines I use HP 61 black and white and the other HP 63. The only problem the inks dry up too fast. But I like the HP ink. Good

Reliable ink

defective cartridge?
after installing new cartridge - printer error message says "Cartridge Problem" remove and reinstall the indicated cartridge, making sure it is correctly installed.
I have removed / reinstalled multiple times and getting same message - have never had this happen before after many other cartridge replacements. Defective cartridge???

A defective cartridge is a possibility. There is also the possibility that the printer doesn't recognize the cartridge. Recognition errors usually happen after a software update.
