It appears that the cartridge is not working with your printer. What an unfortunate outcome! There are a few ideas you could try to get the cartridge to work. Sometimes, a printer struggles to recognize a new cartridge. Try turning off the printer, unplugging it, and turning it back on. Reinsert the cartridge. If that does not work, a return is best.
