Didn't work.
After going to two stores to buy this ink...the cartridge just puts a error message up on my printer. $44 dollars and an hour driving and I still don't have black ink in my printer.

Hi Linda I was sorry to hear that the cartridge did not work for you. That must have been frustrating. The cartridge might actually be saved and save you some time too. Perhaps the contacts on the cartridge got smudged or are damaged so that it was not recognized by your printer. You can carefully polish the copper contacts on the cartridge (and the matching ones inside the printer perhaps) with some kind of lint-free material to get off fingerprints or dust and it should work. If that does not work it is probably defective and you'll need to return it to the seller for a replacement. Sorry! Mary Chris HP Care hp.com/support

pretty good inexpensive printer
so far so good, it sounds a little clunky when printing but it is working great. I don't print a lot so I only need a basic printer and this one fits my requirements quite well

I do all my office shopping at Staples. I'll tell you why. The staples on Northlake Blvd in PBG. FL has a great staff and manager. The manager has been there awhile and he always greets you and goes out of his way to help. Staples also always has different deals and they advertise well so you know about them!
