acceptable replacement cartridge
This is an acceptable replacement cartridge for many older HP printers. Note that the part # has an "XL" on the end; that's supposed to mean it holds more ink than the original "63" cartridge. Time will tell if that's true.

Too Expensive and Too Often
I DISLIKE having to purchase ink cartridges. They are too expensive and don't last long enough. There should be cheaper cartridges for older printers like this one. The cartridge is an HP original so there were no operational issues.

I wish you carried the double pack of the 63 color and black ink. It was always a little cheaper that way. You can almost buy a new printer for the price of ink. Pretty sad!!
