Oh no! It is disappointing that the cartridge did not communicate with the printer. I am guessing you received an error message. The first remedy is to restart the printer. Please turn off the printer and unplug it. Hold the power button for ten seconds when you turn it back on.

A lot of time, communication errors are caused by new software updates to the printer. New updates don't recognize cartridges bought several months ago. Try to revert any recent firmware updates. This Cartridge ran out of ink so fast it should have cost $5.00. I know it is not Staples fault but hp's fault. I also have a Brother copier and their cartridges last alot longer.

Best price on the market !
I looked around some of the other large companies took this cartridge off their chose. I found Staples had the best price and easy to navigate website. I will be a repeat customer even when I change printers the next one will probably be from them.
