HP black 63
It was the right size, but wouldn’t work. So I took it out and the printer worked without it. Very strange.

There has to be some reason the cartridge did not work. I can explore the possibilities with you. The ink might have dried or leaked. It's plausible the printer did not recognize the cartridge. Still, an exchange is possible through www.hp.com/us-en/shop/cv/ReturnsandExchanges?id=page-return-exchange-policy/. Since other print cartridges were successful, it might have to do with specific cartridges.
