The credit for the used cartridge should apply towards the purchase of a fresh ribbon. It's an annoyance to wait and have to jump through hoops to get the credit.

Will you ever have set 2 in a box

Very expensive ink
It is very expensive for the amount of printing that one gets from one cartridge. The XL lasts a little longer but still goes quickly and is a tough expense for a small start-up company.
