Longer Lasting Cartridge

Ink drys out in cartridge .Grrrr
It was easy to order and of course works in my machine but because I don’t use it that often it dries out very quickly. It tells me that I don’t have any ink in the cartridge even when I’ve only Print a few pages. Very frustrating and may I add expensive
