My printer was not printing right. The ink icon said I still had some ink left. I don't use my printer a lot so thought maybe it was dry. I snapped the new ink cartridge into the printer and it works perfect!!

Ink cartridge dries out.
I am an infrequent printer. The ink is fine when it is new. Before I can use it for a dozen or so pages, it will be dried out. Useless. So, while the quality is quite good, it is too expensive for an infrequent printing use.
