I hope this is gives me the full amount of ink. The last one did not. The HP printer showed it was half full and it ran out of ink. This is the first time I have had any problems with HP cartridges.

Very good ink
The ink is dark and easy to read. Print is not messy. It does not smear. Drys fast. I like it and the XL cartridges last twice as long. I would highly recom-mend this product.

every time I purchase this ink I have problems with my printer stating it is illegal and it refuses to let the ink cartridge work.

Hello Reba That sounds very frustrating. I’m sorry that you had this problem. It is likely that the printer is not getting a good connection with the cartridge and that is why it doesn't recognize it. The contacts on the cartridge might be smudged or damaged. Carefully polish the copper contacts on the cartridge (and the matching ones inside the printer) with lint-free material to get off fingerprints or dust. If that does not help please consider returning it to the seller. They are the ones who are ultimately responsible for what they sold to you. Mary HP Care hp.com/support
