This black ink cartridge is fine. It is supposed to last longer than the regular ones but I don't really think it does.

HP cartridges are so expensive!
I feel these cartridges last as long as most XL cartridges (hence the 4 stars) but they are double the price of Brother which is my preferred printer brand. Unfortunately I am stuck with this HP printer at work.

When I was at the store they were out of the 63XL so I had to get the 63. I was very disappointed in the quality of that ink. I was there last week and was able to get the XL

The new cartridges were just the thing I needed to put a used printer back in order. The print head is on the cartridge so just by putting new ones in it renewed the printer performance to like new. The only down side to it is the price of the cartridges but since my last printer was an HP as well and I used 2nd source cartridges and it clogged the head I think I will...

Didn't last as long as expected.
My 63 XL black printer ink seemed to last a little longer than the regular 63 black printer ink. I expected the XL black printer ink to last longer.
